Missy Berkowitz is senior vice president of music at ITV America, overseeing and collaborating with music supervisors on commercial music clearances and licensing, production libraries, composed scores and music operations for the company’s production labels.
Berkowitz joined Leftfield Pictures in 2013 where she constructed the music department and was at the forefront of ushering in new workflows and sophisticated systems which would expand across all ITV America labels.
Prior to Leftfield, Berkowitz worked in music supervision at MTV. There, she worked across projects such as Chappelle’s Show, as well as pop culture clip series, major network morning shows, primetime news docs, children’s theatrical music series and other unscripted programs.
Berkowitz is forever working to perfect her French, her handstands and her major scales up the 000-15m fretboard.
