A&E is moving into new, natural territory with a series set to debut early next year.

The cable net will follow professional backcountry guide and explorer Greg Aiello (pictured) as he analyzes viral videos in the new non-fiction series Nature Gone Wild from Los Angeles-based Thinkfactory Media, part of ITV America.

In each episode of the 12 x 30-minute series, Aiello will offer analysis and insight into unfiltered footage of humans, animals and nature from around the globe — from animal attacks to natural disasters and more.

Nature Gone Wild premieres Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Adam ReedAdam Freeman, Karen Kunkel Young and Mark Anstendig are executive producers for Thinkfactory. Sean GottliebZachary Behr and Amy Savitsky executive produce  for A&E.

Thinkfactory has produced such series as What’s It Worth? (A&E)Happily Ever Altered (Lifetime), Mama June: Family Crisis (We TV) and Married by Mom and Dad (TLC), among others.

In September, the producer announced it had teamed up with Carole and Howard Baskin, the husband and wife team behind Big Cat Rescue — the Tampa-based non-profit animal sanctuary made famous by Netflix docuseries Tiger King – to develop and produce a new unscripted series.
