Karen Kunkel Young is vice president of programming at ITV America, overseeing all aspects of production for numerous series across the company’s six vertical production labels. While at ITV, Kunkel Young’s select credits include Four Weddings (TLC), Surviving Joe Exotic (Animal Planet), Nature Gone Wild (A&E), Inn the Works (Magnolia), Let’s Roll with Tony Greenhand (Quibi) and the upcoming Swipe Swap with Sarah Jessica Parker’s production company Pretty Matches.
Previously, Kunkel Young was vice president of programming for Loud TV where she oversaw series such as Tiny House Nation (FYI / A&E), Food Porn (FYI) and Flip Wars (A&E). Prior to ITV America, she had produced more than 150 hours of programming with titles including Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style (Bravo), Restaurant Stakeout (Food), Built (Style Network), Hungry Games (Food) and Project Runway (Lifetime).
Kunkel Young is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication.
