Jim Bergerย has been named chairman of unscripted prodco High Noon Entertainment and strategic advisor for ITV America as part of a new deal with ITV America.

In his post, Berger will work creatively across all ITV America brands, while continuing to collaborate with High Noon company presidentย Scott Feeley. Berger co-founded the Denver-based unscripted company, which ITV acquired in 2013.

During Bergerโ€™s tenure with High Noon Entertainment, the company launched HGTVโ€™sย Fixer Upperย and TLCโ€™sย Cake Boss; dating seriesย Tough Loveย for VH1; and survival showย Dude, Youโ€™re Screwedย for Discovery, among other titles.

Before co-founding High Noon, Berger was on the executive team at Liberty Media and served as president of TCI-owned Intro Television. Before that, Berger ran local programming and production for NBCโ€™s Denver-based affiliate KUSA-TV where he co-created the Discovery seriesย How the West Was Lost.

โ€œHigh Noon has been part of the ITV family for nearly six years, and we wanted nothing more than to continue working in partnership with Jim โ€“ who is not only a great creative, but someone whose talent and bench of experience now becomes a tremendous asset to all ITV America labels,โ€ said ITV America CEO David George in a statement.

โ€œItโ€™s a joy to go to work every day and I am thrilled to get to continue working with everyone in Denver, and to expand creatively with David and the larger team at ITV America,โ€ added Berger.

Additionally,ย Dana Kopperย has been elevated to general manager of High Noon Entertainment, previously serving in the role of SVP of production and operations. Joining the company in 2001, Kopper has served in a variety of positions across strategic planning, production management, finance and operations, shepherding more than 200 hours of content per year.
